Super Bowl Boom for Local Pizza Business

STARKVILLE, Miss. (Take 30 News) --- The Super Bowl calls for a lot of food. Amongst other special events the Super Bowl is a busy day for most pizza chains.

Bobbi Wells said he is a loyal Lost Pizza Co. customer.

"My friends and I come here every Tuesday for Trivia and we've been lucky enough to win several times so we have a lot of Lost Pizza gift cards and so we want to have a Super Bowl party so we thought to cash in our trivia winnings with lost pizza," Wells said.

Lost Pizza Co. Manager Barry Miller said sales usually increase significantly the day of the big game.

"This Super Bowl Sunday should be about the same as any other Super Bowl Sunday. The weather is a little bit nicer so we might be a little bit busier today," Miller said

He said for hours it's "all hands on deck "at his restaurant.

"Until about 5:30 all employees will be working today and then after 5:30 we'll slow down a lot and we'll send people home," Miller said.
