Mississippi State students are well equipped to have a companion with them to be able to tackle on the school year. “Sweet Treats” – Mississippi State Athletic Photographer Jaden Powell takes on the morning with a lemon-filled donut from Shipley’s Donuts. Starkville, Mississippi students and staff enjoy tasty treats like Shipley’s and State Fountain Bakery to meet their breakfast needs. “Fashion” – Mississippi State fraternity members are known for their look: boots, polo and khaki. With Mississippi State being an agriculture university, many students outside of fraternities wear their boots during the school day to be prepared to do their agricultural duties outside of school. “Hydrate don’t Die-drate” – Mississippi State Athletic Videographer Sophia Hernandez stays hydrated throughout the day with her Mississippi State-decorated Hydroflasks. Many students on Mississippi State's campus take advantage of these types of cups to keep their beverage warms or cool throughout their school and even workday. “More Cowbell” – Mississippi State Athetic Photographer Mike Mattina shows off his cowbell in style. Mississippi State is well known for the cowbell. What started as an indicator for farmers at MSU in the mid 20th century turned into a symbol that is dear to Mississippi State. “Creatvity” – Mississippi State creatives Jaden Powell and Moe Mills show off their creative skills. Mississippi State Athletics has both creative and communication internships that allow students to grow in their craft while also gaining work experience during their undergraduate. “Athletics” – Mississippi State Athletic Photographer Mike Mattina shows his bulldog pride with a unique twist! Students from all different parts of the globe gather together to cheer on the bulldogs from football season to baseball season. They even set the NCAA on-campus attendance records of 16,423 people at Dudy Noble Field in 2023. “Drunk on Chocolate” – Mississippi State Athletic Photographer Mike Mattina enjoys Mississippi State's iconic chocolate milk, made on campus at MAFES. Mississippi State prides itself on their dairy products made from their very own agriculture production. You can purchase milk, ice cream, cheese, and a variety of meats and nuts from MAFES. “Knowledge” – Mississippi State Athletic Photographer Mike Mattina taking time to study for Mass Media Law and Television Production. Mississippi State students work hard for their education. In fact, Mississippi State has a graduation rate of 88.9% “Gaming” – Mississippi State Athletic Photographer Mike Powell taking time out of working to enjoy some gaming. Mississippi State offers students the chance to show their gaming skills though esports, where players can compete in games from Madden to Super Smash Bros.
